2025 Statewide Orientation Day – Welcoming Our 2026 Year 7s

Greater Shepparton Secondary College is excited to welcome our incoming 2026 Year 7 students for the Statewide Orientation Day on Tuesday, 9 December 2025. This important day gives students the chance to experience a full day of secondary school, meet their teachers, make new friends and take part in a variety of engaging activities.

Event Details

  • Date: Tuesday, 9 December 2025

  • Time: 8:30am – 3:10pm

  • Meeting Point: Northern basketball courts at 8:30am

  • Dress Code: Full primary school uniform

What to Expect on the Day

  • Students will receive a welcome pack on arrival.

  • A BBQ lunch and snacks will be provided, with halal options available.

  • Throughout the day, students will experience what a full day of secondary school is like.

  • Activities will include a range of team-building sessions, designed to help students get to know their new teachers and peers while becoming familiar with their new school environment.

We look forward to meeting our future Year 7 students and helping them begin their secondary school journey with confidence and excitement.
