Dear Students, Parents, Carers and Guardians,
I write to advise you of some helpful information we have placed on Compass and our website.
I appreciate not all families were able to access the Goulburn Valley Health online presentation yesterday. The information we are providing today addresses many of the questions raised during this online forum as well as the messages provided by our health authorities during the presentation.
We have posted:
- Frequently Asked Questions, particularly relating to our school community’s Tier 1 exposure status;
- A guide to accessing food relief, essential items and other support;
- A guide to pandemic support services operating across the Goulburn region.
Please be aware the “Stop and Stay” advice for GSSC families remains current so I thank you for staying at home and keeping the wider community safe.
All GSSC staff, students and their households from the McGuire, Wanganui, Mooroopna and Invergordon Campuses are currently identified as Tier 1. We must therefore continue to quarantine for 14 days until further notice. The first day of quarantine was yesterday Saturday 21st August.
A reminder that remote learning will commence on Tuesday, 24 August, to allow our teaching staff time to prepare online lessons.
We will continue to keep you informed as we receive guidance from our health authorities. Stay well and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Barbara O’Brien
Executive Principal
