Please be advised, due to extreme heat forecast this week, that the first Big Day Out is being postponed. This impacts Biyala Neighbourhood students. Please see revised dates below:

Year 7 Big Day Out dates:

Dharnya Neighourbood: Thursday, 13 February
Biyala Neighbourhood: Thursday, 20 February
Bayuna Neighbourhood: Friday 21 February
 
On the day, students are asked to meet in their neighbourhood bleachers at 8.30am, instead of going to Home Group. Buses will depart around 8.45am and return to GSSC at 3.45pm. If you are a bus traveller, please make alternative arrangements for this day.

A few things to remember:

  • Please wear full school uniform with your bathers underneath or packed in your bag

  • Bring a change of clothes and towel

  • It may be best to wear old runners, as we will be doing water activities

  • Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen and drink bottle

  • Pack a lunch and plenty of snacks to get you through the day

  • No mobile phones

Payment details for families:

  • The cost for this event is $50 - CSEF Funds will be adjusted by Finance in your Compass portal if applicable.

  • Alternatively, parents are able to nominate $50 in the School Saving Bonus (SSB) Portal to ‘School Activities’. Please contact GSSC Finance on 5891 2000 if you select this option for payment.

  • Payments can be made via Compass Portal (instructions below) / Cash / BankCard / BPAY. If you require your BPAY details, please contact Finance on 5891 2000. Cash / Bankcard payments can be made at the Enterprise Main Office.

Consent form details for families:

  • WATERBASED ACTIVITIES: Student swimming level must be provided by ticking appropriate box on either the yellow permission form (second page) OR online consent.

  • Parent/Guardian signature required on Yellow Permission notes  - this is located under Parent B Phone Number.     Parent/Guardian  MUST sign the permission form if not completed online for your child to attend.
