The nomination period for the GSSC School Council has now closed.
Please find below the nomination notification, listing the names of the nominees.
Thank you to all those who nominated, it is great to see parents and staff willing to give up their time to be representatives on School Council.
Please note that the parent membership category will be going to ballot and voting will begin on Tuesday 7 March 2023
Further information will be sent out to parents on how to vote.

An election is to be conducted for members of the Greater Shepparton Secondary College School Council.
The following nominations were received by 4pm Thursday 2 March

The poll for the staff membership category is formally declared and we congratulate the following staff.
They will be representing the staff of Greater Shepparton Secondary College on School Council.

The first cycle for our Student Effort Assessment Reporting is currently being prepared by staff.  This assessment looks at:
Personal Learning Growth: Student demonstrates growth in their own personal learning levels
Completion of Learning Tasks: Student completes set learning tasks 
Attitude to Learning: Student demonstrates commitment to and engagement in their learning
Managing Personal Learning: Student manages their personal learning needs

Students will receive an overall score between 0 and 4. 
Students who receive a score of 2.5 and above are meeting all classroom learning expectations, students above 3.5 are going beyond expected learning expectations.
The reports will be released on Compass for parents on Wednesday 8 March 2023
