Dear parents and carers

As a result of a number of staff absences tomorrow, our Year 8 cohort will need to learn from home on Monday 16 May. Where teachers are able to set learning tasks, these will be available on Compass.

Year 8 students will return to school on Tuesday 17 May. Students who need to collect their laptop or other materials for learning from home can do so from 8:30am in the morning.

I apologise for the inconvenience this will cause for some families, and thank for your support.

Our College looked magnificent and our Captains and Year 7 students were terrific hosts for our Year 7 information night. A huge turnout saw families and prospective students shown our facilities and informed about our House system, subject choice and how we place every student at the centre of what we do at GSSC.
