This year, in response to industry and business feedback, Careers Day Out was condensed into a dynamic one-day event held at the Shepparton Showgrounds. The day featured an impressive array of workshops, demonstrations, and talks designed to give students meaningful insight into the world of work and local career opportunities.

We were fortunate with perfect weather as over 300 Year 10 and Year 11 VCE-VM students from GSSC were transported to the event. Throughout the day, our students engaged enthusiastically with the activities and showcased commendable behaviour, making their teachers and school community proud.

With over 3000 students in attendance, Careers Day Out once again delivered an inspiring experience. It offered valuable exposure to a wide variety of career pathways, sparking ideas for students' futures. The event also served as a great platform for staff to connect with industry stakeholders, further supporting future planning and student development initiatives.
