Today GSSC students patiently lined up and waited for the school photos to be taken. If your student was not at school today there will be another opportunity on our follow up day 14 February.

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

We welcomed many of you on school tours in the week prior to Term 1 commencing. Interest in the site was immense and we ended up tripling the number of tours we had planned thanks to the efforts of our staff and Department of Education volunteers. The tours were conducted in hot weather and with last-minute, minor construction continuing. We were pleased with your understanding of these conditions and your appreciation that all possible efforts were made by staff to familiarise our families with Greater Shepparton Secondary College.

Of course, now that Term 1 has commenced, that familiarisation has continued with the most important people on the new site – our students.

On behalf of the GSSC leadership team I can report how pleased we are with how seamlessly our House and Neighbourhood structures are fitting into the new school. I can also report that, overwhelmingly, our brand-new facilities are being welcomed by all. That said, like all new developments, we will find areas of improvement.
