A reminder - as posted on Compass on Friday 25 - due to COVID related staff shortages the Department of Education and Training have given permission for us to have Year Levels remain at home, on various days across the week.
Arrangements for the next few days of home learning are:
Wednesday 30 March – all Year 9 students
Friday 1 April – all Year 10 students
Monday 4 April – all Year 7 students.
Students will be able to access lessons on Compass to complete work while they are at home. Remote learning will not be provided during this time.
Year 11 and 12 students will continue to learn at school every day.
The Year 7 Camp will continue as planned from Monday 28th March to Wednesday 30th March
We will continue to monitor this throughout the week and keep you updated.  Thanks for your support as we work together to manage the current COVID impact on our school.

The first GSSC Presentation Ball of 2022 was held on Friday, 25 March.A total of 62 students were presented on the evening. Students arrived at the College stadium for the 'Viewing' segment of the night to display their dancing skills to guests.
They were then transported to Eastbank to join families, friends and staff.
Our College Leader, Olivia Judd and College House Captain Angelina Mason did a fantastic job of MC'ing the event.
Debutantes and partners had spent eight weeks learning the six dances they performed to guests on the night. Audience members also had the opportunity to join in on the dance floor performing The Bus Stop!
Congratulations to the students who participated in this Presentation Ball. The night was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Our next Presentation Ball will be held on June 17.
