Details

The advice from the Victorian Chief Health Officer is that it is now safe for students, teachers and support staff to return to face-to-face teaching and learning.

School is returning in two stages, with Prep, Year 1 and 2 students back at primary school. Year 11 and 12 students, and some Year 10 VCAL students, have returned to secondary schools like GSSC. From 9 June, remaining students will return to on-site schooling.

After all year levels have returned, remote and flexible learning will only continue for students with medical advice stating they are unable to attend school. Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians – as individuals, families, communities, organisations and importantly as a nation. At the heart of this journey are relationships between the broader Australian community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.​  At Greater Shepparton Secondary College we acknowledge our role to play when it comes to reconciliation, and in playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, histories,  cultures, and futures within our community.
